I sent my application and check in a while ago. Am I in the tournament? When will I hear?
All accepted teams entered by the deadline of June 24 are posted on our web-site and e-mailed confirmations by July 21.
It's past the deadline. Can I still apply? What are my chances of getting in?
On approximately July 25, we will post the tournament brackets on our web-site. We will continue to accept applications on a first come, first served basis after the deadline, however, only to close brackets. We anticipate closing most brackets in mid-July.
Payment is due upon submission of the application. If your team is not accepted into the tournament, a refund check will be issued in approximately thirty-days. We cannot process your application without payment.
Can we withdraw and still receive a refund?
Refunds will be issued only if we are unable to accept your team.
What time are the finals matches on Monday?
Monday's matches are scheduled to complete as early as possible. Most of Monday's games are finals. Finals are regulation length for their age group and cannot end in a tie. Therefore, we must allow for a full length game with possible overtime periods and kicks from the penalty mark. The last match of the day usually starts by 4:30PM.
What time should I schedule my return flight on Monday?
It is strongly recommended that traveling teams not book return flights prior to 8:00 P.M. PST. Most airlines suggest arrival at the airport one to two hours prior to departure, to allow time for security screening. Please remember to budget time for travel to the airport when making your travel arrangements.
How can I be assured we will be competitive in our bracket?
Complete the application accurately and completely. The competition committee will make every attempt to match your team against appropriate competition. Although we cannot guarantee a certain bracket, because of the large number of teams competing in our tournament each year (approximately 300), most age groups will have two divisions.
Please notify us in writing of this situation. Include the coaches' name, and the names and age groups of both teams. The competition committee will make every attempt to accommodate your request. Although we have a very high percentage of success scheduling through these types of conflicts, we cannot guarantee a completely conflict-free schedule.
When entering your application on SoccerScheduler.com, ensure that you enter the coach's name exactly the same on each team's respective application.
Past field complexes include: California State University Long Beach (CSULB), Long Beach City College (LBCC), El Dorado Park, Heartwell Park, Bancroft Middle School, the Cerritos Sports Complex, Cabrillo High School, and Los Alamitos High School. Most fields are bounded to the east by the San Gabriel River Freeway (605), to the south by Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) (1), to the west by Lakewood Blvd. (19), and to the north by the Riverside Freeway (91).
Exceptions:
Cerritos College, Cerritos Sports Complex and Los Alamitos High School are
located just east of the San Gabriel River Freeway (605), Cabrillo High School
is located just west of the Long Beach Freeway (710).
How can I be assured my hotel is near my playing field?
All fields are within 25 minutes of approved tournament hotels (under normal driving conditions).
Registration (check-in) is from 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM the Friday night before your games. No Saturday check-in is available. Incomplete registration may jeopardize a team's participation in the tournament resulting in a possible forfeit without refund.
You may use the new season's ID Cards or the current season's ID Cards which expire on August 31. You may also use a combination of current and new season ID cards. The only requirement is each player's ID Card must match the player's registration form. You may NOT use a new season ID and an old registration form or a current season ID and a new registration form. The seasonal year must be the same on both documents.
